The minutes of the April meeting were approved.

Director’s Report:
In April the program room was used for 25 events and by 311 people. The best attended events were Candidates’ Night (48 people), a yoyo demonstration for kids (48) and apple Country Music Together (40). The last two were library or FoBPL/CC-sponsored.
The two permanent full-time staff members who started working in January have received their 90 day evaluations. They will be working on setting SMART goals for the remainder of this year.
Kelly and her staff are planning this year’s summer reading program. The FoBPL has generously underwritten the entire program ($2200).
C/WMARS Executive Committee:
Kelly was invited by CWMARS to serve on their executive committee. She had been invited to serve several years ago, but declined because of her involvement with the renovation/expansion project. A motion was made by Bob, seconded by Chris to approve Kelly serving on this committee. The motion passed unanimously.
Budget:
2010 – Heating is currently about 8K in the red – we need to see if we can get a credit from the construction project.
2011 – Utilities – current usage has our utilities budget about 50% lower than anticipated useage.
Library/Town IT:
Bob will talk to Gary about the IT budget for the library.
LCC:
Roland will talk to Bob White to find out what is left in the construction budget.
The next meeting will be June 7th at 6 p.m. at the library.
